Brac’s Guide to Piracy is the ultimate guide to running or playing in a campaign of blood and treasure! Hoist the colors and set sail on any of the more than a dozen new ships, from your standard sloops and galleons to the mighty orcish juggernaut to the squidships of the starspawn captains. Recruit a crew from over two dozen named pirate NPCs each with their own plot hooks, and sail into ship combat, or board the enemy vessel to seize cargo and get rich with astonishing speed!

Or come at the campaign from the opposite direction, playing as one of four new aquatic races which, in conjunction with the three already officially published - yes, three, Locathah Rising has playable locathah stats - allows for an entire party with swim speeds and underwater breathing right from level 1. Resist the onslaught of the Sahuagin Empire, explore shipwrecks and sunken temples, and make contact with the surface worlders in search of allies against the threats below.

Stalk the trade routes of the high seas, rolling on special pirate encounter tables that might turn up anything from a storm caused by angry water and air elementals to a cove of potentially friendly merfolk who may need your assistance against some undersea threat, a sunken ship laden with treasure that you might be able to recover if you’ve got the potions of water breathing for it to a rival pirate who you might team up with against a particularly big prize or just sink so as to have less competition, a fisher boat being attacked by a giant shark to a moving island on the back of a giant dragon turtle, and of course you might actually find the merchant shipping you came out here to plunder in the first place.

Discover unmarked islands, clear out any monster infestations they may be suffering from, and build up hidden coves where you can come for repair and resupply even when official ports are closed to you. As your secret network of ports expands, capture new ships and leave friendly pirate crewmates in charge of them to keep the ports safe, until your pirate fleet has grown strong enough to challenge the empire and break their oppressive reign over the waters.
