Orrinyath's Guide to Dragons
A downloadable game
Bring the dragons down with new rules for aerial combat that make use entirely of ordinary Strength saves, Athletics checks, and attack rolls, no new flight modifiers or vector bonuses or anything else to remember, but which still prevent the fight from bogging down into a bizarre hovering melee. Once the battle is won, dive into the many uses in magic item crafting for dragon parts, from turning dragon teeth into +1 arrows to consuming dragons blood to supercharge the next spell you cast.
Challenge the ultimate enemy with new elite moves for all five chromatic dragons at each of young, adult, and ancient stages for a total of fifteen new movesets, turning dragon fights into the cinematic and tactically intense battles that they should be. Each set of elite moves comes with four special abilities, one of which may be activated each round, from breath weapons to Sorcerer spells to a dramatic takeoff that knocks down nearby creatures to superheating the air surrounding them to divebombing targets and more. After each elite move has been used across four different rounds, the dragon can then use their ultimate attack on the fifth.
And, of course, there are new rules for playing as a dragon or half-dragon. If you’ve been following the series, you knew that was coming, it’s the obvious direction to go. Beginning with a fairly basic natural weapons and flight, as you gain levels and attune to your draconic nature as though to a magic item, you will unlock higher unarmored AC from thicker scales, immunity to the appropriate damage type, a frightful presence, and limited Sorcerer spellcasting for spells related to what type of dragon you are.
Challenge the ultimate power or become it, with Orrinyath’s Guide to Dragons!
