The Traveler's Guide to Drachzee
A downloadable game
The Traveler's Guide to Drachzee is a 5e sourcebook about rogues and devils and a city full of both of them. Sell your soul to the devil, or an archfey, or an evil sword, or whatever, embracing the Warlock’s pact as never before with the new favor system with your patron, allowing you to refresh your spells and other Warlock powers much faster when your patron is pleased, but unable to refresh them at all when your patron is angry. Keep them happy to keep the power flowing faster than ever before, or be left with nothing, scrambling to find some way back into their good graces.
Become a monstrosity spat out by Hell itself with the new Hellspawn class, a half-caster Warlock in the same way that a Ranger is a half-caster Druid or a Paladin is a half-caster Cleric. The Hellspawn uses their natural weapons, unnatural movement, and massive size and natural armor to hold the frontline. Or you can play as the new Chaos Warrior subclass for the Fighter, using the demonic power of Chaos Marks to become an abyssal juggernaut, or as the new Occultist subclass for the Healer class first printed in Thaemin’s Guide to Gods and Miracles. The Occultist subclass uses necrotic power to alter the balance between life and death, taking life from enemies - or yourself - to give it to allies. If you don’t have Thaemin’s Guide, then don’t worry, the Healer class itself is reprinted in the Traveler’s Guide to Drachzee.
(While we’re talking about reprints, in the last book I said there would be reprinted content in addition to the usual 40 or 50 pages of new content, and for some reason some people thought that meant there would be less new content than before. And I don’t know how to put it any more clearly than I did in the first place, so I’m gonna say it again: There will be reprinted content in addition to the usual 40 or 50 pages of new content. So these books are a little bit longer than the old ones, because in addition to the usual 40 or 50 pages of new content, there is also some reprinted content.)
Also included is a write-up of the city of Drachzee itself, including new stat blocks for the damned souls and ne’er-do-wells who walk the streets. From the mean streets of Bluten Row to the magic shops of Zauber Bazaar, from the pirate taverns of Dockside to the sinister estates of Hell’s Quarter, Drachzee is an urbancrawl overflowing with plot hooks and peril. Also included are a total of ten new and converted backgrounds that provide special background features which allow you to spend your hit dice on special tricks you picked up from being a cultist or a guild assassin, a charlatan or a criminal, a member of the Horned Union for tiefling workers or a member of the Vogel crime family who sold your soul as part of a coming-of-age ceremony when you were thirteen.
All this and more in the Traveler’s Guide to the Rogue City of Drachzee!
